Yes, provided you have a dedicated off-street parking space and permission from the building owner, factor, or management company.
What you need:
- A dedicated parking space (not shared or communal) - Written permission from the landlord, freeholder, or property factor - Access to your own electricity supply (your meter, not a communal supply)
OZEV grant — Flat owners are one of the groups still eligible for the OZEV grant, which covers up to £500 per socket towards the cost. We handle the application as part of our service.
Installation considerations — Flat installations are often more complex than houses because the cable route from your consumer unit to your parking space can be longer. We may need to route cables through communal areas, along external walls, or underground. Our site survey assesses the best route and gives you an accurate fixed price.
Communal charging — If your building wants to install shared EV charging for multiple residents, we can design and install multi-point systems with load balancing to prevent overloading the building's supply. The Workplace Charging Scheme grant may apply to communal residential installations.
We have installed EV chargers in flats across Stirling, Falkirk, and Bearsden. Book a free site survey and we will assess your specific situation.
