Talk to the Engineers. Not a Sales Team.
When you call us, you speak to the people who'll actually do the work — not a call centre, not a salesperson on commission. We've been doing this since 2000 and learned that people just want someone who turns up when they say they will, does the job properly, and charges what they quoted.
Certified Expertise
NICEIC approved, MCS certified, OZEV registered. We hold the accreditations because we earned them — not because we paid for a logo.
Our Own Team
Our own full-time engineers handle the work from survey to sign-off. No agency labour, no mystery subcontractors, and no strangers turning up halfway through the job.
Upfront Pricing
We quote a number, we stick to it. No 'extras' appearing on the invoice. If something changes, we tell you before we do it — not after.
We Don't Disappear
Had an installer vanish after the job? We're still looking after systems we put in 20 years ago. Maintenance plans, aftercare, and a phone that gets answered.
"Delighted with the workmanship and professionalism shown in completing the rewiring of my house and the installation of my solar system." - Sue Strudwick, Google Review
Mackie Electrical Services has been providing electrical contracting across Central Scotland since 2000 and now also specialises in solar panel installation, battery storage, and EV charger fitting. All work is completed to BS 7671 standards, with NICEIC certification provided where applicable.
Questions We Get Asked a Lot
Straight answers to the things people actually want to know before they pick up the phone.
Most of our customers in Stirling, Falkirk, and across Central Scotland see their electricity bills drop by 50–70% after solar installation. A typical 4kW system generates around 3,400–3,800 kWh per year — enough to cover most of an average household's annual usage. Add a battery and a smart tariff and you can cut bills even further.
Still have questions? We'd rather talk than type.
